Unfiltered, semi-dark special beer
Únětice Rye Beer is brewed using barley malt and two types of rye malt sourced from the Bavarian Weyermann malt house. It has a slightly darker color than a classic lager and boasts a rich, creamy foam. With an original wort concentration of around 11.5%, it offers excellent drinkability compared to “strong” beers. Rye malt gives the beer a slightly coarse flavor, complemented by a light hoppy finish. Over the past 50 years, rye has been used for malting and beer production only rarely—primarily for seasonal beers known as Sommerbier (“summer beer”). This summer semi-dark rye beer is crafted to meet the quality and flavor preferences of Czech lager enthusiasts.
